Sleep is an important aspect of relieving stress for every person in the world. However, this idea of sufficient sleep holds much significance in a person's life. Few can hold a proper and helpful sleep schedule that can truly help one’s mental and physical health. Sleep is crucial to a person’s well-being as it can help their positivity in their daily life, the morality of well-being where they respect their selves, and finally to be able to efficiently progress with their life.
The biology of humans is said to require sleep, for their brain to operate. Yes even though this idea of having a surplus amount of sleep is pushed by factual evidence. It is neglected by people all around the world. The definition of having sleep is to be able to let your brain relax and fully rest itself for it to function onwards on the very next day. Not letting your brain have this rest will be just like your physical body, tire yourself mentally. An over-stressed brain will indefinitely affect your efficiency in completing your work. It is said that over 60% of depression is caused by a lack of a proper amount of sleep. This further proves that the lack of sleep will be detrimental to a person's success.
Another reason why sleep plays such an important role in the daily life of a person is how their emotions can differ. Studies show that sleep deficiency changes activity in some parts of the brain. If you're sleep deficient, you may have trouble making decisions, solving problems, controlling your emotions and behavior, and coping with change. Sleep deficiency has also been linked to suicide and risk-taking behavior.
Sleep is truly important as it controls a person's emotions and the efficiency of their brain.
Here are some of the ways to a quality sleep:
1. Keep a consistent sleep schedule,
2. Give your body a signal saying that it’s bedtime such as reading a book, taking a bath, or meditation,
3. Create a comfortable, dark, quiet, perfect temperature environment, and
4. Keep your phone or any other screen time.
